What should you think about before your departure
Packing before you leave is always essential but even more so maybe when you go sea sailing. It is a little bit like camping out; meaning what you didn't bring along might be dearly missed.
Therefore we like to help you with a short list of bare essentials:

- medicines, if you need them. Also medicines that you only use occasionally, e.g. for allergies, can be very important. Especially when we are staying in a remote bay
- passport (check the validity date)
- travel Insurance (check that it covers off-shore sailing)
- you sailing license or certificate
- an extensive collection of sun cream with high protection factor, preferable waterproof
- a cap or hat
- good quality, sunglasses with dark lenses
- boat shoes or training shoes with light coloured soles.
- a few shirts or blouses with collar and a thin long legged pair of trousers; light colours are best
- swimsuits and bikinis
- a thin sleeping bag, in case you choose to sleep on deck.
- other swimming tools like goggles, flippers and watertight flashlights (snorkelling at night)
- (underwater) camera
- a sweater and a water- and windproof jacket
- a good book or two
- your iPod or other MP3 player
What should you NOT bring !?
A big square hardcover suitcase...
That will really be a lot of hassle and no good on board.
Preferably take a sports bag or a backpack
